I didn't mean to imply that Rebecca was Ezekial's mother. Only to say that
she could be Malinda's mother. However, since writing that I also found a
legal abstract with William Younger atty as the grantee and Malinda Younger "and
c" (child) as the grantor, so Ezekial was Malinda's son and not her brother.
See two paragraphs below.
We have a Lucy Franklin marrying John Younger.
And we have a John Franklin marrying Rebecca Younger
There is not a record of a Malinda Younger marrying a Franklin. Only one of
a Malinda Franklin marrying Mr. Winn. Yet Malinda's name is Younger on my
sheet of court records dated Feb. 20, 1838. Strangely, right above Malinda is
Morgan (my gg grandfather's brother) same date, same atty. In both cases it
says: P of A (Power of Attorney) 44 514 the date and at the end "gen"...which
I'm supposing means "general power of attorney".
We have a John Wynn and a William Y. Wynn/Winn in Halifax during all those
years.
John was most likely William's father. Maybe not.
Hope this straightened some things out.
