William Younger Winn and Malinda Winn are my direct ancestors through their
daughter Lucy, born about 1852. I have never been able to figure out the
answer to your question. William Younger Winn was the executor of a will of
one of the daughters of Thomas Younger,Dolly Younger Light who left property
to Malinda and Ezekial Franklin. She also left money from the sale of a
Negro Woman to Dolly Franklin(g). In later documents (deeds, census, etc.),
Ezekial's name changes from Franklin to Winn.

The LDS site lists Malinda Winn's maiden name as Younger, even though she
was a Franklin at the time of her marriage. I don't know whether she was a
Younger, married to a Franklin, a daughter of a Younger who married a
Franklin (and Ezekial was born out of wedlock) but presume she fits into
this part of the Younger family. I also am not sure whether Dolly Franklin
would be her sister, mother or what relation.

William Y. Winn's middle name was Younger, and he presumably fits into this
family as well. These two have been my brick walls for two years now, so I
would appreciate any help.
