Hello Judy,
The combination of the name Loudoun with James & Young makes me thing that perhaps there is a Scottish connection here. Loudoun is a name well-known in Ayrshire, and it is possible that James' mother or grandmother was a Loudoun.
I had a preliminary look-up on Family Search org and found JAMES YOUNG m HELEN LOUDOUN (Helen is a name with the same derivation as Eleanor) on 4 June 1837 in Angus Scotland.
It may be worth an investigation (Mind you they'd have had to get over to indiana pretty quick to have had baby James there!) and I'm sure thre will be othr Loudoun/Young connections.
