I do know that there were York's that lived in Marlow, Stephens County, OK
that were Choctaws. We had one attend our meeting at the Stephens County
Genealogy Library one night as a guest but can't remember his name. I would
guess that he was late 20's early 30's, and knew about finding grants on the
Internet for Indians. There's a York Baptist Church that's located east of
Marlow that was founded by the York's that were Choctaws. It's still there.
Don't know if you could find info there but you could try. The zip code for
Marlow is 73055.
