I have a John Yelton who died 2 Feb 1852 in Campbell Co, KY-- close, but not
close enough, it seems! Where in KY is the museum that has the stone?

Hi Everyone,

This message came to my mailbox this morning. Since Teresa is not a
subscriber it did not go to the list but only came to me. Please take a
look at your records and see if one of your ancestors died on Dec 12 1852.
I will write to Teresa and let her know we are checking our records.

Thanks,
Iris

Hi,

I'm writing in regards about a Yelton Headstone that was found in Kentucky
and trying to trace where it should be placed.

Johnny Yelton
date on the stone 1852 Dec 12

A friend of mine went to Ky & visted a museum the stone was laying by a
tree...the man that runned the museum said it was found in a little red
wagon...and was just placed/layed upon the tree...because there was no grave
there. Have no idea where this stone should be placed...any clues? Maybe
the stone was redone...haven't a clue where or who it is. There is a
picture of the headstone...that my friend took...only trying to find the
rightfull owner.

Teresa..
