Iris,
I believe this must be my John H.. Don't have any records of another in the
family.My records do not indicate a daughter named Isabel of John H. Yelton
nor do I have him entering into a second marriage, but the last child born to
John and Judith seems to have been in 1848 (Lucinda). So the dates and info
could be correct! If Judith died shortly after Lucinda's birth, he could have
remarried! And Isabel could have been another child I missed or even the
middle name of Lucinda or his other daughter, Elizabeth b. 1836. This is a
mystery I will have to do some digging on! John apparently moved his family
around. He went from Iredell Co., NC to KY and met Judith, but I have some
paperwork somewhere that indicates they went back to NC for a while and then
back to Pendleton Co., KY. I'll try to find more this weekend.
Good luck figuring this newest mystery out!
