Hi,

Yes, I do have a date for the following land record. This land record can be viewed at Bureau of Land Management - Eastern States General Land Office on line at http://www.glorecords.blm.gov/

Michael Yeakle of Butler County, Ohio purchased 80 acres in Montgomery County, Indiana, on 15 April 1825 from the land office in Crawfordsville, Indiana.

I also found a Jacob YAKLE from Butler County, Ohio, who purchased 477.07 acres in Mercer County, Ohio on 10 Oct 1840 from the land office in Lima, Ohio.

I have not tied either of these guys into my Peter Yeakle line (of Perry County, Indiana).

Can you tell us more about your Michael YEAGLE line? Sometimes the least little thing can provide a clue to relationships.

Regards,

Diane Swift

Good morning!
Re: land in Indiana. Do you have a date. And, no I have not found a Peter Yeakle . You see, everything Ihave on my ggg Michael is spelled Yeagle - even on his wife's line - Sarah Kreilick, daughter of Adaam Kreilicck - Sandusky Co, Rice Twp, Ohio. My Miccchael was a political figure of some sort. Very elusive background. That amazes me.
Thank you.
