--Bible of Lucinda Lewis and James Madison Yeager, eldest child of
Abijah.

Recently, the Family Bible of James Madison Yeager and his wife Lucinda
Lewis Yeager came up for sale on e-Bay and was, happily, purchased by
one of their descendants. Mrs. Georganna Yeager Johns is now the owner
of the Bible and has sent me its family information to post to the list.
Georganna is descended from James Madison Yeager's son Wiley Ducalion
Yeager (25 June 1849 - 10 June 1929).

-- Bible of Sarah Ann Gillum and Ducalion W. Yeager, youngest child of
Abijah.

Ducalion's Family Bible has come to light at long last. Paul Ray Yeager
is the owner of this Bible and has sent me copies of the birth,
marriage, and death pages, which list (1) the marriages of Ducalion and
his wife Sarah, as well as her sister N. J. Gillum; (2) the births of
the children of Sarah and Ducalion; (3) the marriages of their children;
and (4) the deaths of Ducalion, Sarah and some of their children and
their children's spouses. The handwriting changes as time passes. Paul
is descended from Ducalion's son Personder Coalman Yeager (29 January
1859 - 19 October 1939).
