I know it has been years since this post started, but I wanted to add my info. Eula Lamm was my great grandmother (she had Robert C. Jones, who is my mother's father). You are correct - Doshia is Eula's mother. She actually had 4 kids with 4 men and never married one of them, thus making tracing the family tree a little difficult! My uncle maintains that Doshia's mother never married as well. He also said he thinks he may have the names of the men Doshia had children with.

I have this information from my living family members who remember both Doshia and Eula. From what they tell me, Doshia did not know who her father was and also always claimed to be born in 1880. I have not tried to verify any of this with actual documents yet. It's all just oral history in my family.

I'm attempting to make an family tree/album for family members and hope to make a trip to WV for some research sometime this year. If you would like to stay in touch on the research, I can share whatever I find out. I have some fun stories about the Lamm family from my mom and uncle.
