I am also a descendent of Jeptha Wright, I have also been trying to find out more of where he came from. I think all we find is he was born in MA. and married Betsey Emerson in Stoddard, NH. Then he moved to NY and on to IN. I have a picture of Jeptha and is posted in my family tree (Wright Family Tree). Are you from Edward's line? I am from Jeptha's son, Albert's line. Albert moved to Oregon in 1852, so I have quite a few letters that Jeptha and other family members that wrote to Albert.
