Subject: WRIGHT, Thomas - Massachusetts - 1850 to 1964 - Wills

In 1964, while trying to trace my Dr. Thomas Wright, I checked with the
Probate Courts in each of the counties in the Commonwealth of Mass. There
were only four Thomas Wrights who left wills after 1850 in Mass and I
requested copies of them. None of them were mine, but perhaps someone might
be interested in the information I did receive. I have some additional
information on some of the following.

1. Thomas Wright and son Thomas Wright Jr. Lived in South Scituate, MA.
1852. Heirs mentioned are Mercy T. Hathaway, Lucinda B. Stetson, James
Wright, George Wright and Elisha B. Wright. (Don't have copy of will, but
have information if someone wants to order a copy.)

2. Thomas R. Wright, died within 2 months before 9/25/1860 in Pepperell,
Massachusetts, County of Middlesex. Mentions widow Hannah and Francis P.
Wright Richardson (wife of John E.), Caroline E. McIntire (widow of Abel
McIntire), Benjamin E. Wright of Marshfield, Plymouth Co., and Hortensia L.
Wright. All except Benjamin lived in Pepperell.

3. Thomas Roland Wright, born circ 11/1/1858, Worsall, England, died
11/15/1923. Mentions son Roland John Wright of Mashpee, Mass and
Philadelphia PA. Wife Jennie Gravoot died before 1923.

4. Thomas R. Wright, born 11/1865, Porta Down, Ireland, died County of
Hampden, State of Mass, City or Town of Springfield 7/8/1924. Mentions wife
Hannah Blair and six children, (1) Albert John of Springfield, (2) Thomas
George of Oakland, CA, (3) Ida Mary Cashman of Hartford, Conn, (4) James
Henry of West Springfield, Mass, (5) William Robert of San Francisco, CA, and
(6) Walter Wilson of Philadelphia, PA.
