Does anyone know these Worthingtons? They do seem to hold some promise of
being mine. Karen Moore Kerr

Well, I have just started investigating the Thompson's in MO, mainly because
my information was very sketchy.
Here is what I have found out ( this information was given me by an email
contact just like you--I will contact her, as she undoubltedly has more info
on the Worthington's than I.

Rachel Mason was born 11-6-1749, Frederick County VA (daughter of Thomas
Mason and Mary Newton);the family moved from Lower Norfolk County, VA where
Thomas Mason's ggrandfather settled in 1613.

Rachel married Robert Worthington, Jr. and they moved with Rachel's family
to Monongalia County, VA;which later became Westmoreland and Fayette
Counties, PA. Rachel's father died in Westmoreland County in 1779.
Rachel's husband died there in 1778. She married Joseph Thompson around
1780.

Rachel had 2 children by this first marriage: Joseph Worthington and
Elizabeth Worthington.

I do have more, but I get a bit cloudy as this is not the line I am really
working on at the moment, but my contact is. I will give her your email
address and hopefully she will contact you soon.
