Does anyone have David Reed's email address? I meant to save it
so I could write to him, asking him to reconsider unsubscribing to the
list, but I can't find it anywhere. I'm afraid he has alread
unsubscribed and isn't getting our messages of encouragement.
I agree that David has been the highlight of the list since I've
been on it. He just has a way with words. And for what it's worth, I do
not think he meant anything derogatory in his jest to the Savage lady
about her name.
If David decides to leave the list (or as the case may be, stay
gone from the list), we will have lost a most entertaining, delightful
person...most assuredly OUR loss.

p.s. - To conform to list standards, I give you my Worthington
information:
I am descended from the Manoah Worthington (I've been told his wife
was Susannah), who was in Edgefield, SC, during the early to mid 1800s.
Some, if not all, of his children moved on to Georgia, especially Floyd
and Bartow counties. Several descendants moved on to Arkansas later.
Specifically, Manoah's son, Richard, married Mary Berry. Manoah's
daughter, Dorcas Adarkas, married Randal Ramsey. Richard's son, Manoah,
married Dorcas's daughter, Susan Amanda - yes, first cousins married!
And they are my g-g grandparents.
