Hi Liz,

There were two James Worts baptised in Fordingbridge in 1791, both Godshill,
parents James and Elizabeth or William and Elizabeth. I'm still not too
sure which is my ancestor. Both had lots of siblings. I can provide
details if this is the generation that interests you.

'My' James whichever he was, called his eldest child James also, baptised 15
March 1822, father James Wort labourer of Godshill Wood, and mother Sophia.
He had siblings Sophia 1823, Frederick 1827, Harriet 1831 and Eliza (or
Elizabeth?) 1839. There are gaps in these dates so there could be others
that I have not found. I know a good bit about the 4 elder children, but
not much about Elizabeth.

James also called his first son James in 1848, but that's probably too late
for you?
