I found an old family Bible, written in it is.."Stephen Cox Wood born Selston,
December 28, 1873.
He was my 3xG Grandfather, his father was William WOOD, mother -we have no proof
and that is why I'm asking for help.
William (born in Osgathorpe) was married twice, first to Emma Hucknall in Whitwick,
and here in America his wife was Kate Simms Wood, we have no proof of their marriage.
It is said he left England, went to Canada then to Pennsylvania.
I'd like to find out just which one was the mother of Stephen, does sks have any connection.
