Hello

I research the PENNELL and CHAPMAN families who were in Swansea during
C19th. There is a link by marriage.

Sophia Pike c 1829-1900 was married first to Robert John Pennell 1841-67 (d.
Colombo, Ceylon) and then to Daniel Vaughan, a seaman in merchant service
about whom I know no more. Sarah had 8 children before the death of Pennell.
However, at the time of the death of her daughter, Sarah Jane (1852-68), she
was known by the name Vaughan - as if Daniel Vaughan had adopted the
children.
