Gregory S. Kitsemble, 38, Wittenberg, died Thursday, Sept. 14, 2006, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield.

He was born Jan. 6, 1968, in Dodgeville, the son of George and Sharon (McCartney) Kitsemble Sr., Deerbrook. On May 16, 1992, he was united in marriage to Shelly Wendler in Tigerton. She survives. Gregory graduated from Wittenberg- Birnamwood High School in 1986. He was employed by Low Brothers Lumber, Wittenberg and enjoyed hunting and fishing but especially spending time with his children, nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife, Shelly Kitsemble, Wittenberg and parents, George and Sharon Kitsemble Sr., Deerbrook, survivors include: two sons, Hunter and Chase, both at home; maternal grandmother, Laura K. Loy, Dodgeville; brothers and sisters, Candra (Michael) Kielblock, Tigerton, George (special friend Darcy) Kitsemble, Gary (special friend Rebecca) Kitsemble, Jeffrey Kitsemble and Tammie (Todd) Zinda, all of Antigo; mother-in-law, Sandy Wendler, Wittenberg; brother-in-law, Scott (Tammy) Wendler, Wittenberg; sister-in-law, Tonya (Scott) Kratz, Forest Junction; and 17 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by: grandmother, Lavon Kitsemble; uncle, Roger Kitsemble; and father-in-law, James Wendler.

The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 16, at Holy Family/St. William Catholic Church, Wittenberg. Father John Girotti will officiate. Interment will be in Forest Home Cemetery, Witten- berg. Friends may call on Friday from 5 until 8 p.m. at Schmidt-Schulta Funeral Home, Wittenberg and again on Saturday, at the church, from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
