You can find the name of the owner/renter of a current residence from R.L.
Polk City directories or from the Crisscross Directories. City directories
are still alive and well and are wonderful sources of information that are
used by business to locate people for deliveries and by sales people to
prospect customers. Many libraries have then and R. L. Polk has repository
centers in every state as well as an Internet site. These directories
listings are divided into several sections: by name, by street address [with
cross streets listed] , and phone numbers. They will tell you such
information as own/rent, occupation and many other things, such as neighbors
and nearby relatives.
The older ones may help answer questions as to what is the address now by
looking up the cross streets.
