Subject: Does "Elizabeth Wills" ring a bell ?
Date: Sun, 21 Dec 2003 10:45:17 +0100
I am searching for the maiden name of my gg grandmother Elizabeth Pepin
by marriage. Born about 1806 in Jersey, Channel Islands, she married my
gg grandfather Francis Pepin of the parish of St Peters about 1830. The
couple had three sons : Francis (b 1831) remained in Jersey as a farmer,
John (b. 1832) apparently emigrated to Australia and George (b. 1834) became
a seaman. I have a tantalizing hint that Elizabeth's maiden name might well
be Wills, or some corruption thereof. Does this connect with anybody's tree
Many thanks for any reply.
