Looking for information on the Allen and Reynolds families. Thomas L Reynolds (born abt 1827 in OH) and Catherine Reynolds (born abt 1830 in NY - maiden unknown)were married about 1852 - perhaps in WI. Their children were Hattie G (born abt 1853), Olive S (born abt 1856) and Frank W (born abt 1862) all in WI.
The family is found (sans Frank) on the 1860 Oakfield, Fond Du Lac, WI census and Catherine, Hattie and Frank are on the 1870 Census. Thomas died in 1864 in the civil War in Georgie. I am not sure about Olive's history. Hattie G. married a Charles "Buck" Allen (abt 1849) and they had at least the following children; Willie R (abt 1874), Mary L (abt 1876), Lewis H (abt 1878)and Florence (abt 1881). Charles is the son of William R Allen (abt 1822) and Mary Allen(abt 1824). Siblings were Maltida(abt 1848), James( abt 1854), ML(abt 1855) and Janet(abt 1860) Chippewa heritage is in question in both families. Any information appreciated.
