Hi,
I just read your posting on Jarvis, Alexander. Sorry, I do not have anything just yet but I'm planning on visiting the courthouse and library tomorrow on this very surname. My gr gr gr grandfather Louis Barbeau married Melvina Jarvis in Fond du Lac in 1883; her parents were Nelson Jarvis and Adele Barbeau. Perhaps he is some relation to this family, I'll get back to you when I find out.
