I've "rescued" an old photograph of Louise MURTO which was taken at the
Miller & Chadbourne Studio in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. The photograph
appears to have been taken in the 1890's with Louise likely in her teens or
20's at the time it was taken. Based on limited research I was able to
locate the following information regarding Louise and her family:

Louise A. MURTO b. 11 Nov 1874 in WI to parents Patrick MURTAUGH b. 1847 in
MA and Catharine MALONEY b. 1847 in WI. She had one sibling, Patrick MURTHA
b. 1885. Louise died in Fond Du Lac, WI in October 1969. Census records
for the family are as follows:

1910 census of Fond Du Lac, WI:

Patrick MURTO, age 55, married 30 years, born MA, parents born Ireland, an
Odd Jobs Laborer
Catharine MURTO, wife, age 52, married 30 years, 2 children/1 living, born
WI, parents born Ireland
Louise MURTO, dau, age 32, born WI, parents born MA/WI, a Milliner

1920 census of Ford Du Lac, WI:

Patrick MURTO, age 70, born MA, parents born Ireland
Catharine MURTO, wife, age 70, born WI, parents born Ireland
Elizabeth MURTO, dau, age 42, born WI, a Milliner

I am hoping to locate someone from her family so that this wonderful old
photograph can be returned to the care of her family. If you are a member
of this family, or know someone who might be, please contact me.
