Hi Tina and Mary - this is also my line through Ethel Dean Wickizer who was my g-grandmother. I show that William Thomas Wickizer had four wives. Since Uncle Bill lived very near my father when he was growing up, Daddy often spent time at their house. Bill's first wife was Addiealtini Elya (the family called her Tiny). Her father - Walter Elya - was the fourth husband of Ethel's mother-in-law (Hannah Annette Hibray Curtis Hendricks Van Tuyl Elya). Tiny was the mother of Donald Claude Wickizer. Tiny and Bill were divorced.

The second wife was Elizabeth _____ who died young. "Beth" was a nurse and she and Uncle Bill had 2 daughters - Georgina and Dorothy (b. 1919).

There were also Jimmy (Richard James) and Tommy (William Thomas Jr) Wickizer, the children of Margaret Walker. Margaret died while undergoing a goiter operation.

The fourth wife was Lou Nelson, who had three children of her own, Darryl, Carl and Jay.

Jimmy, Tommy, Darryl, Carl, Jay and my Dad were all within a few years of age of each other. The Wickizer boys (including the "steps") shared a double bed. When Daddy visited, they would sleep all six sideways in the bed.

I would love to exchange more info with each of you.

Karen
