I am seeking more information on a Patrick Whelan born in 1834 to a Robert Whelan and Catherine Tobin or possibly Tobias. He later married Julia Bamrick in Scotland, but his wedding certificate stated he was born in Ireland and I am trying to find the county for sure. I believe it to be Queens ( laois) co. but would like to be positive.
