Subject: [WRY] MICKLETHWAITE at Denbydale 1890 and the TURTON family bible

My grandmother Susan HEYWOOD (1868-1952) reportedly said that before leaving
England for Australia in October 1891, she and her foster father George
William
HEYWOOD (1837-1908) visited family relations in Denbydale and discovered
that
John MICKLETHWAITE, presumably a relative of George Micklethwaite, husband
of Sarah TURTON, a daughter of our ancestor William TURTON
(14/12/1771-14/7/1847),
was in possession of the Turton family bible.
G W Heywood copied some family data from the bible but that data is now
lost.
My name is Paul Turton GRAY. I am trying to verify the relationship between
William
TURTON and his possible nephew Thomas TURTON, Bishop of Ely from 1845-1864.
If the bible is still accessable I would like to ask for copies of the pages
with data
relevant to my ancestors
