I have a coincidence here that I'm trying to find out about. I don't
necessarily need information on Yancey Shaver, he was married to Mildred
Louise Weed.

My maiden name is Shaver, My mother-in-law was a Weed. So I started
researching Shaver and eventually Weed. In the Weed Line I found Yancey
Shaver and wondered if by chance I could trace him back to my Shaver
line in Rockingham Co. Virginia. My mother-in-laws line of Weeds go
back to Jonas Weed in 1630 MA.

Anyone with information on Yancey Shaver who can trace him back to the
1700's, would be appreciated.
