Hi Robyn,

Yes, I know, but they are Webbs and there are a lot of those about.

William Webb married Sarah West in Towcester, in 1846. They lived in the little village of Caldecote, just outside Towcester. In 1848 they had a son, John Webb. In the 1851 census Sarah and John are in Caldecote, but William has vanished.

Sarah has another son, named Frederick Webb in Coventry in 1853, baptised at St. Michael's in 1854, but she doesn't register William as the father and the vicar wrote Illy under his name.
The 1861 census shows Sarah, John and Frederick living together in Coventry.

Best wishes,
Linda

>Well, Linda, do we know who the father was to the brother?  Robyn Australia.
