re any MOORWOOD/Morewood etc
Charlotte Moorwood or Morewood or Moorwewood about 8 in family
with various spelling.
She recorded as 24/6/1828 at Nether Whitacre........and 3 generations back
Two generations back [on my chart] I have a Charlotte married to a Mr. SMITH
in business at Tamworth, locations were in walking distance in those days.
When people had legs and feet !.
Have family letter confirming a visit of my Aunt to this business address,
think it has a business heading. Will search it out.
Always pleased to hear about any M/woods.....have not been in the group
long....so far just watching the chatter.
Most of the family in Australia are MORWOOD.....from the N/E coast
of England.....about 300 of them known. There are a few Moorwood in
Australia and New Zealand.
Bill Moorwood of Wolverhampton.
