Subject: MALLABONE, MORTON, Surnames

Hello everyone! I'm searching eagerly for MALLABONE connections in
Warwickshire, particularly in Nuneaton. My g-g-grandfather, John MALLABONE
was born 4 feb 1855 in Warwickshire. Married Cisley HARROLD in Lancashire.
They immigrated to USA in 1882 and settled in Pennsylvania. There are
supposed to be Canadian relations with whom John had contact, but I have not
yet found them.
John's parents were William MALLABONE and Ann MORTON.

The MALLABONE's ran a pub called "THE JOLLY COLLIER" for several decades,
presumeably in Warwickshire. I doubt if it is still in existence, but I
wondered if anyone who may know the area may have heard of this pub.

Any help or leads on the MALLABONES or MORTONS would be very gratefully
appreciated. I'd love to share information and family stories with anyone.
