LEONA MARIE ( WALLS ) CHILDERS, 81, Harrisville, died Dec. 18, 2003 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry, Ohio.

She was born Sept. 5, 1922 in Flushing, a daughter of the late William Joseph Walls and Artie Misha ( Marple ) Walls.

She was a member of the Harrisville United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents ; husband, Orvy Martin Childers ; a daughter, Lancy Spragg ; three brothers, William, Oliver and Ray ; two sisters, Ruth and Alma.

Surviving is a son, Tim Childers of Wellington, Flordia.

Service was held Dec. 22, 2003 at the Borkoski Funeral Home, Adena with Rev. James McKinsey officiating.

Burial at Olive Branch Cemetery.
