Hi Amy, This is July 27, 2010, and I just read your post here from 1999! I hope you will be able to respond to my post after all these years! We are 2nd-3rd cousins. Your grandpa Weldon, was first cousins with my dad, Thomas E. McKinney. Weldon's mother Lola Mae Phelps Wakeland, and my dad's mother, Eva Ellis Phelps McKinney, were sisters. My dad and mom visited your grandparents after they moved to CA around 1950! My dad is from McHenry, KY, but ventured out west, as your grandparents did! I was born in 1953 in CA, as my parents moved to LA at that time. I hope you have found your family by now, and I hope you are able to contact me...
