Subject: [VOORHEES] Jennie Nevius Voorhees, sister of ___ Hagaman

I rescued a small picture from an antique shop in Smithville, Atlantic
County, NJ today. Just felt like I had to buy it. It says in pencil on
the back - "Aunt Jennie Nevius Voorhees G'ma Hagaman's sister".
Photographer D. Clark, 4 No King Block, Commerce Square, New Brunswick,
NJ.

The Nevius and Voorhees are above and below the level of the Aunt Jennie,
so it may not be that is her actual name, could be one or the other.

The woman is thin, fair, light, maybe even redhaired, hair parted in the
middle and pulled back and under at the back of her neck, long thin face,
long nose, close set pale eyes, sloping shoulders, plaid dress with
covered buttons down front, white band collar.

I wonder if she is associated with the Nevius Voorhees store.
