I still have my Webtv. I keep it as a backup in case my computer goes back into the shop. It was a lifesaver for 3 weeks when my computer was sent to Dallas to replace the power supply.

As far as I know Webtv can't get a virus so it doesn't have any virus protection. About the only file I can open is a small Windows Media Player file. If someone does send them something with a virus they don't know it. I always deleted the big files because I couldn't look at them, or I sent it to someone to tell me what it was. As far as the KAK virus it can get forwarded to someone without them knowing it. So I think it can transmit the virus, but can't be infected by one.

Hi!

Someone just sent KAK to me via WEB-TV. Norton caught it so I don't have a
problem. I did call the sender to alert the other recipients before more
damage is done. She thought WEB-TV couldn't transmit a virus. I have no
idea. Do any of you know anything about it? How would she get rid of KAK?
