Hi rooters,

The Morris line is intertwine with many of my families of Albemarle and
Fluvanna. I would like to get a clearer picture of the descendants of this
family. Since these are in-laws, I have never done any research after my
Hannah, who married Thomas Tilman. I would appreciate any information on
any of the male descendants listed here. I am also looking for all
Tilman/Morris connections. Here are some of the names in my database

In the name of God Amen, I Hugh Rice Morris of the parish of St. Ann's and
the County of Albemarle, being in prefect Sence and Memory, Tho' very infirm
and Bodyly health do make this my Last Will and Testament in favor following
that is to Say I lend into my affectionate and well beloved wife Mary
Morris, Six Hundred acres of Land with the plantation whereon I now Live
with all the household furniture, Stock and Black during her live or
widowhood, After her decease I give and Bequeath the Six Hundred Acres of
Land with all the said stock and moveables to my Beloved Son John Morris to
him and his heirs for ever. Item I give and bequeath unto my beloved son
Jacob Morris two hundred acres of land, lying and being in the county of
Amherst on Thomas's mill Creek"with a negroe boy name David which he has
already received to him and his heirs for ever. Item I give and bequeath to
my Beloved Son Hugh Rice Morris four hundred acres of Land in the North
Garden whereon he now lives with two hundred arces of land upon Totier Creek
which I purchased of Thomas Oaglyby to him and his heirs for ever. Item I
give and bequesth to my Daughter Elizabeth Austin two hundred arces of land
upon Peolar in Amherst County to her heirs for ever. Item I give and
bequeath to my daughter Lurainer Taylor, four hundred arces of land in
Amherst County an maple Run to her and her heirs for ever. Item I give and
bequeath to my daughter Hannah Tilman two hundred acres of land in Amherst
county to her and her heirs for ever and two hundred of land upon Totier-
Item I give and bequeath unto Thomas Tilman Jr. one Entry of Land containing
one hundred and seventy five acres on the Branches of Hardware River. Item I
do Constitute and appoint my son John Morris with Mary Morris Executore and
Executiex of this my last will and Testament. In Witness whereof I have
hereunto put my hand and Seal the Seventeenth of September in the yea of our

motion of John Morris an Executor therein named who made Oath according to
Law Certificate was granted him for obtaining a probate in due form on his
giving Security, where upon he gave bond with Hugh Rice Morris his Security
