Dear List
Things seem to have been very quiet lately -- maybe I forgot to re-subscribe.
I am still looking for anyone who knows anything about Websters in Prince
William County from about 1830 onwards.
According to ancestry.com there was a William and a P Webster in 1830 and
1840 as heads of households. In 1850 there is Lucy Webster as head of
household in Dumfries, she is over 80. It is this woman's husband that I am
interested in and their children.
I believe one daughter may have been Matilda Webster who married Caleb
Simpson. This couple were living next door to Lucy in Dumfries in 1850. I
believe another daughter was Lucy Ann Webster who married William Lloyd
Brawner (this lady is my focus). There must also have been a son Webster
who was the father of James E Webster (aged 15 and living with Lucy Webster).
This is the last link I have to find in my Haislip-Webster-Brawner story.
Please help me verify who Daddy Webster was.
Cheers
Lynne Simpson
