Thanks to the proof reading of three of our New Kent List members (Marge Garfield, Terri Lindsay and Vickye White) the 1840 New Kent County Census is now on line, You may view it at:

The 1830 New Kent Census has been transcribed and ready for proofreading.

I will provide the printout of the spreadsheet transcription, paper copies of the census microfilm images and a stamed envelope with which to return the marked up spread sheets.
There are a total of 24 pages with no more that 25 names per page. You may sign up for as many pages as your want, but, due to postal charges, I would perfer to have you sign up for at least five pages.
