I have a & Wilmer- Ogden, Whitehead & William's- Campbell-Mitchell-
May's- Johnsons, <Family Problem Created over time>
Wider than the distance from Richmond to Amherst & Nelson Counties Where it
Began. OH for Those wonderful Ancestors, &
Their Descendents- My Cousins of which I met so many of them at the Campbell
KIDS Reunion AT Massies Mill, Va on OCT/8/2005 & hope to meet again in 2006

I will just go back to 1797, When Leroy Mitchell was Born, 1797
He married Sarah Sallie Harvey/Harvie.

They Married in 1824, there were 7 Children.

#-1 Beverly Mitchell B-1824 M Missouri Willams; That is all That I Know
of Uncle Beverly.

#-2 Nancy Ellen Mitchell B-1827 M George Rodney Johnson,
<They were one set of my 2nd Grt Grand Parents>

They had ONE Daughter & Five Sons

#-1 Sallie Lee Johnson M John Wilmer- Their Daughter Virdie
Wilmer, B abt 1878 M Ed Sale, Near Alwood, Va. With 8 Children Some Still
living THOSE Sale Children are First Cousins to My Late Mother, <Myra Campbell
the Daughter of Tom Josh Campbell & Ora Lee Wilmer.

Now, #-3 Lucy Jane Married J. J. Bolling, I have a very good Connection to, <
Aunt Lucy's Descendents>

#-4 Thomas W. Mitchell, B 1832 In Nelson County Va. Married
Mary Dexter from Deadham, Maine. One Daughter, Susan Mitchell B. in 1858-
When the Civil war Started Aunt Mary went back to Maine, Uncle Thomas Mitchell
went into the Army, He was Captured at Mechanicsville, Va. imprisoned in Del.
until after the War then Went to Maine & Died the First Night There.
I have some Lead to his Family in Cal_____?? BUT would like
More, On the Phillips Family in Cal.

There Is a Historical account of; Second Lieutenant Thomas W.
Mitchell-Commissioned Officer 49th Virginia Infantry Regiment- Company F. Nelson County C.

Four Children_____??, There is a Connection to this Group of Cousins in
Covington, Va__? Would Like Contact with Sidney
Ogdens Descendents.

Whitehead;

There was one child Melvina Whitehead B__? Married VAN Buern Mays <B1854>
M. 27/Nov/1877.

Then Van Buren Mays 2nd Marriage Nelson County 24/Feb/1886
Mary E. Campbell, Dau, of M.V. & Mary V. Campbell.

Van Buren was the Son Of Richard L. Mays & Delilah Campbell.

His Sibling's were; Sterling S, Alson, George W. & Sally.

These are the only Known Children For Van Buren Mays; Willie
And A. L. Both Daughters. This By Maxine Mays McLaurn
SEPT/18/2000. Now I am Hoping there is someone With Information, PLEASE.

22/Nov/1869, There were two Children

#- 1 Tom Josh Campbell M His 3rd Cousin Ora Lee Wilmer,
<They were My Mothers Parent's> With 4 Children, I have ALL of them
Accounted for: Hazel Campbell M. Mary Bell in Appomattox, County, Va. 3 Children. all
still Living.
Mitchell Campbell Never M.

#-2 Lucy Campbell Never Married.

Myra Campbell Married Arthur Thomas Powell. Sr. Native of Amherst County,
Va. There were 11
Children, I am the oldest & there are only 4 of us living

There were 4 Children, 3 Still Living.
