For the record, all the children under Melvin Van Every and Josie Thedford belong under Melvin's first wife, Margaret Jane Denyer. Margaret died in 1923 in Fort Hancock, Hudspeth, Texas. Melvin's marriage to Josie must have been brief since he passed away in 1928.
