Following is an obituary for Joanna (Pettit) Vanevery published in the
Christian Messenger 16 September 1858.

3 Sept. Joanna Vanevery, wife of Charles of S. Dumfries in 55th yr.; b. in
Willoughby Tp. 18 Feb. 1803, dau. Of John and Catherine Pettit, and grandau.
Captain Henry Buchner; lived with father and grandfather till about 15 yrs;
then moved with father to Ancaster; met and married Charles Vanevery 14 Jan
1823; had 11 ch; 8 survive with her husband.

I only have names for six of their children. Does anyone have the rest of
their names and birth dates?
