Does anyone have information on Lucy Wakins Simmons, the daughter of John
Walter Simmons and wife, Lucy Angelina Ogburn?

I was given information that Lucy Wakins Simmons was born Oct. 4, 1882 (saw
another souce with 1881).
I had her date of death, October 3, 1969.

The Social Security Index has a "Lucy Simmons."
Born Oct. 4, 1884
Died Oct. 1969.
Last residence was in Baltimore, MD.

Is this the same person? The year of birth is off, but so similar that I
thought I should check. This lady never married. She had a sister, Elva
May Simmons, who married Clifford Hill Shaw. I understand they lived in the
South Hill area.
Could use some help figuring this one out. Thanks.
