Wanted to thank you all for the many responses regarding my first visit to
the FHC. I am feeling much more comfortable about trying it out now.
One individual who responded by sending me a personal email, had an
attachment with it, that she did not send. It was titled "winmail.dat". If
you should receive any email with such an attachment, please do yourself and
others a favor and do not download it.
Thankfully, I know enough about computers to know that .dat files are never
sent by individuals but are found in programs you purchase, such as Windows,
MS Office, etc. When I responded to her reply, I mentioned this attachment
and inquired as to why she'd be sending a .dat file. She then became aware
that she has a virus which is attaching itself to her outgoing email.
Holidays are infamous for virus epidemics - Please be very careful
downloading files and keep your antivirus program updated. None of us need
our hard drives erasing.

my other accounts.
