Sorry for the garble on my previous posting as I was cpoying and pasting. Hope my query comes through this time. :)
 

Would anyone have any knowledge of this info?  IEdwin Conway, Sr. who was married to Martha Eltonhead who are my 9th great grandparents. I didn't see a date on this info.
 
This is what I am asking about:
Both Col. John Carter and Edwin Conway were Godparents to two of Capt. Thomas Carter and Katherine Dale's children (later wife of Richard Lee)  ... also Letitica Corbyn (Corbin) to Edward Carter eldest son with Diana Skipworth Dale, Edward Dale and Edwin Conway. No dates given.
 
Col. John Carter was married to the sister of my Martha Eltonhead and he left a heifer as a gift to my next grandmother, Eltonhead Conway that married Henry Thacker, Str.. Eltonhead is the daughter of Edwin Conway, Sr. and Martha Eltonhead.
 
Any info would greatly be appreciated.
