I know I am off track from the original post but I have to add my two cents worth. I am a direct descendant of William Bonham and Betsy Williams and actually own some of the original homestead. According to court records in Wythe and Grayson Co. Va., Williams parents were Joseph Bonham and Naomi Parke. Joseph's father was Jacob, then Hezekiah, then another Hezekiah, then Nicolas, then George from England/Leyden, S.Holland, Netherlands. This information matches what I have seen from several sources. Any connection to the Mayflower would have come through Nicolas father-in-law Samuel Fuller.
