By any chance was your Julina the d/o Alfred P. E. Hale and Elizabeth Jones? I show a daughter Julina for them b. 1848 VA according to the 1850 census where she was 2 years old, but that is all the information I have for her. Is this the same person as your Julina?

Btw, Alfred Hale was my husband's 3rd cousin 3 times removed, and Elizabeth Jones was my husband's 3rd cousin 4 times removed, so they are not direct lines.

Which Hale and McBrides are you looking for? I have a Julina Hale, born
c1848 married to Wiley McBride, born c1848. I don't have anything on the
McBrides but Julina Hale was the sister of my husband's great, great
grandfather and I have quite a bit of information on them.
