I've been very interested in the Harvey notes that appeared on this list
recently. I am trying to determine which Thomas Harvey was the father of
Sarah Harvey who married Charles Doss in Franklin Co. Va. 27 Jan. 1793.
The Doss couple may have moved to Stokes Co. No. Car. where they seem to be
listed in the 1810 census, with many neighbors named Harvey. Can anyone
connect the Buckingham/Appomattox Harvey's to those in Stokes Co. No. Car.?
Was there a Thomas Harvey living in Amherst Co. ca. 1790s?

This was part of one of the notes posted here:

"Capt. Thomas Harvey, Sr., b. 22 Mar 1762, Lunenburg County, Va. (after
1754, Bedford County), d. 12 Mar 1837 on Cub Creek, Campbell ...
He died intestate; Estate Division 9 Oct 1837, Campbell
County Will Book 8, page 141; settled 14 Nov 1842, Will Book 9,
page 104, by administrator, son Glover Harvey."

My question is do you have (has anyone seen) the estate records naming this
man's children? If so, can you please share that information with us?
