JOHN A. MCCURDY
1946-2009

John A. McCurdy, age 62, of Pace, FL, passed away suddenly on Thursday,
February 5, 2009. He was born October 29, 1946 in Pensacola, FL to the late
William Henry McCurdy and Opal Cox McCurdy.
John was a member of West Florida Baptist Church and had worked as a paint
specialist. He enjoyed car modeling and was a member of the Pensacola
Modeleers.
Survivors include his wife, Donna Covey McCurdy; a brother, Dick (Sue)
McCurdy of Gainesville, FL; and a niece, Leslie (Edward) McCurdy Hennis of
Gainesville, FL and many friends.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, February 7, 2009 at 12 Noon
with Pastor Alan Stewart officiating. Interment will follow in the Memory
Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Andy Stone, John Powell, Mike Cappel,
Mike East, John Sellier, Lloyd Sellier and Tony Broxton.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, February 7,
from 11 AM until the funeral hour. In lieu of flowers, the family requests
donations be made to West Florida Baptist Church.
National Cremation & Burial Society of Milton has been entrusted with the
arrangements.
