NEW BEDFORD, MA - Angelina (Quental) Machado 92, died Thursday, February 5,
2009, after a long illness, at the Southeastern MA Health and Rehabilitation
Facility. She was the wife of the late Murillo Pavao Machado; they were
married for 65 years. She was also the daughter of the late Joao deMedeiros
Quental and Maria deFrias Mendonca.

She was born in Villa Franca do Campo, Sao Miguel, Azores and lived in New
BEDFORD for 30 years. Mrs. Machado was a communicant of Our Lady of the
Immaculate Conception Church.

Survivors include 3 sons, Joao Manuel Quental Machado and his wife, Saozinha
of St. Michael, Antonio Quental Machado and his wife, Anna of Canada, Antero
Quental Machado and his wife, Maria of Seekonk; 3 daughters, Natalia Quental
Cardosa and her husband, Armand, Fernanda Quental, Esmeralda Quental Furtado
and her husband, Antonio, all of New Bedford; 12 grandchildren; and 2
great-grandchildren.

Her funeral Mass will be said 9am Monday at Our Lady of the Immaculate
Conception Church. Visitation will be Sunday 6-8pm at the Boulevard Funeral
Home, 223 Ashley Blvd. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.
