Born in Buncombe County, NC on Sep. 26, 1946
Departed on Feb. 23, 2005 and resided in Leicester, NC.

Homer John Lusk, 58, of Leicester, died Wednesday, February 23, 2005 at
Memorial Mission Hospital.

A native of Buncombe County, he was a son of Savannah Jones Lusk and the
late John Lusk. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and a huge fan of NASCAR
racing. He served in the US Army in Vietnam as a gun runner.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 39 years, Carol
Chambers Lusk; a daughter, Tina Webb and her husband, James of Leicester; a
brother, Tommy Nathan Lusk of Leicester; three sisters, Kathryn Buckner and
her husband David of Greenville, TN, Judy Riddle and her husband Neil of
Mooresville, NC and Lynn Faulkner and her husband Tony of Fletcher; several
nieces and nephews and many friends.

His family will receive friends 7:00- 8:30pm Friday in the Patton Avenue
chapel of Groce Funeral Home. A private service will be held at a later
date.
