Mrs. Elizabeth I. Scanlon

Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth I. (Scanlon) Spaulding of 17 Blossom street, were held at Saunders funeral home, 90 Westford street, yesterday afternoon and were largely attended by friends and neighbors. Rev. Appleton Grannis, rector of St. Anne's Episcopal church of which church Mrs. Spaulding was an attendant, officiated. Mrs. Albert T. Salomonson, organist, played an appropriate prelude and postlude. There were many flowers. Yhe bearers were William H. Trask, Arthur F. King, Martin H. Maguire, Arthur J. Bowden and Frank A. Vaughn. Interment took place in the family lot in the Edson cemetery, where the committal service was read by Rev. Raymond S. Hall, rector of St. John's Episcopal church. Funeral was in charge of Horace E. Wile.
