William Curl
North Platte, Neb.
William H. Curl, 80, of North Platte, NE died of complications of pneumonia
Tuesday (Feb 26, 2002) at Centennial Park Retirement Village there. Services
will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Hand Funeral Home in Tama, with burial at
Riverside Cemetery in Marshalltown. Mr. Curl was born in Cincinnati, IA. and
lived in the area as a youth. He had lived in the Montour area before moving
to North Platte. He had worked at Lennox Industries in Marshalltown before
retiring and was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Tama. He
enjoyed gardening and raising cattle and chickens. He is survived by a
daughter, Linda Penrose of North Platte; a son, dale of Wisconsin; a
brother, Chester of Bentonville, Ark.; a sister, Zella Wilson of Moravia;
and four grandchildren. He was receded in death by his wife, Ann. Friends
may call after noon Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may
be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
